Bayuk, Paul G. (27 Apr 1958 – 22 Sep 2021)

Paul G. Bayuk, 63, Stevens Point, formerly of Willard, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 15, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point. For the safety of everyone, we require masks be worn. Paul will be celebrated with a service at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 16. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Paul was born on April 27, 1958, in Marshfield, to William and Eleanor Bayuk. He attended Greenwood High School and graduated in 1977. Paul was employed at Nelson Muffler/Cummins Emissions Solutions from 1977 to 2009 and then as a custodian at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point until he retired in 2020.

Paul is survived by his brothers and sisters, and their spouses: Jim (Jan Irene Miller) Bayuk, Mary (Guy) Stewart, Carol (Neil Dreifuerst) Bayuk, Nina (Terry) Wobken, Betty (Randy) Thermos, and Steven (Libby) Bayuk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the oncology department at St. Michael’s Hospital for their compassionate care for Paul the past 18 months and Compassus Hospice for their comfort care. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Rock Creek Disabled Outdoors/Sunset Pines Resort in Paul’s name. Donations will be used by the organization to help create recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This resort was started by Paul’s late friend, Dale.
