Otterbacher, Eula A. (15 January 1906 – 14 January 1980)

Eula A. Otterbacher, Crandon, passed away in St. Mary’s Hospital, Rhinelander, on January 14. The funeral services for the 73-year-old woman were held at the Ellen Lloyd Chapel of the Christian Catholic Church in Zion, Illinois, with interment in a Zion cemetery.

The deceased was born on January 15, 1906, in Willow City, N.D., to John and Bertha Myhre. On July 1, 1926, she married Warren G. Otterbacher in Zion, Illinois, ceremonies. She graduated from the Zion Conservatory College of Music and art and after the death of her husband worked as a machine operator for Zion Curtain Industries, retiring in 1969. She moved to Neillsville to live with her daughter’s family (the Kinnick’s) and then moved to Crandon in 1977 to be with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. S. Davis.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marie) Kinnick, Neillsville; three sons, Theron of Zion, Neil of Waukegan, Ill., and Alan of Urbana, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. S. (Harriet) Davis, Crandon; a brother, Beuell Myhre, Cave Creek, Az; thirteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1947, two sisters and one brother.
