Jane Marie Sedlacek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sedlacek, Cadott, became the bride of Larry M. Haas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Haas, route 3, Thorp, on Saturday , October 6, 1973 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Cadott. Father Robert Cook performed the single ring eight p.m. marriage ceremony.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white chiffon dress over taffeta. She wore a floor length beil and carried a bouquet of mint green daisies and red roses.

Doreen Baures was the maid of honor, with Cheryl Janicki, Cheryl Sedlacek and Joan Haas as bridesmaids. They wore flowered chiffon over taffeta dresses and carried daisies and roses to match their dresses.

Gary Baures was best man, and Mike Sauer and Pat Sedlacek were groomsmen. Ring bearer was the bride’s brother, Ronnie Sedlacek. Ushers were Ron Haas an Dennis Sedlacek.

A buffet supper for 350 guests followed the ceremony at Pike Lake. The bride attended Cadott High School and the groom attended Thorp High School and served in the U.S. Army for 2 years.

After a wedding trip to Milwaukee, they will make their home at 203 Lincoln St., Thorp, where the groom is a carpenter.
