Halida, Frank A. “Pig”, Jr. (21 February 1972 – 22 October 2021)

Frank A. "Pig" Halida, Jr., 49, of Withee, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Frank Alvin Halida, Jr. was born on February 21, 1972, at Victory Memorial Hospital, in Stanley, the son of Frank and Betty (Pribbernow) Halida, Sr. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at Owen-Withee schools. He was a farmer and enjoyed spending time with family members and friends. Frank had many interests, but he especially enjoyed deer hunting. Frank was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #547 in Lublin.

He is survived by his sisters: Jean Gustafson of Stanley, Diana Halida of Stanley, Kathleen Halida of Withee, and Elaine Halida of Withee. Frank is further survived by his nieces and nephews: Christopher Gustafson, Chuck (Lori) Gustafson, Chad (Andrea) Gustafson, and their children Hayden and Ady, Chet Gustafson, Heather (Fred) Palmer, and their children Lynnsie and Benjamin, Jason (Nicole) Halida, and their children Sidney and Sawyer; very dear cousin: Otto (Sharon) Cwikla, and their children Zachary, Brandon (Heather), Ava, Mae, and Jax; and very dear cousin: Don (Barb) Cwikla; many other family members and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law: Mike Gustafson.

A Celebration of Frank's Life will be held at Diane's Back 40 in Lublin, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 3 p.m. to midnight, with lunch and drinks to be served.
