Ells, Carlton J. (22 May 1941 – 11 Nov 1973)

Services were held at the Thorp Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon for Carlton J. Ells, 32, farmer in Taylor County town of Roosevelt., who was fatally injured Sunday evening in a Clark County traffic accident.

Wednesday’s service was conducted by the Rev. David Fuller of the United Methodist Church of Thorp. Burial was made in the East Thorp Cemetery.

Mr. Ells was born 22 May 1941 in a farming community in the Madison area, and purchased a farm in the Lublin area about 6 years ago.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, one 9 years of age and twins 2 years old.

Ells died when his truck and another truck collided on Clark County Highway X. Clark County authorities are still investigating circumstances surround the accident.
