The Elks Lodge of Chippewa Falls has once again joined with the Elks National
Foundation to sponsor a “Most Valuable Student Contest.” This year’s winners are
Dixie Postier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Postier, and Loren has, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haas.
The Chippewa Falls Lodge awards a $50.00 Savings Bond to the winning boy and
girl in our area. The Elks National Foundation presents state and national
awards ranging from $600.00 to $3,000.00. A scholastic average of 90 percent or
better, a relative standing in the upper 5 percent f the applicant’s class, and
a need for financial assistance are necessary for award consideration.
