Stock, Rosemary (8 June 1929 – 28 October 2021)

Rosemary (Hodel) Stock, age 92, of Marshfield, passed on October 28, 2021, at Lakeside Villa Assisted Living facility in Phillips, under the care of hospice.

Rosemary was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 8, 1929, the daughter of Samuel and Gertrude Hodel. On July 15, 1951, she married her husband, Charles F. Stock, and resided in Claytonville, Illinois, where Rosemary worked as an accountant, before she and Charles moved to Spencer, and ultimately Marshfield. Rosemary received her Associates Degree in Accounting from UW-Stevens Point in Marshfield. Rosemary retired from the Marshfield Clinic in 1994 and continued to do State and Federal taxes for a small group of clients until she was in her mid-eighties.

Rosemary is survived by son, Charles (Gail) Stock; daughters, Sheryl (Larry) Gullickson and Susan (Roger) Trierweiler; brothers, Irvin, Richard and Marvin Hodel; sisters, Edith Plattner, Ethel Waibel, Jeanette Hoerr, Rhoda Hess, Roma Rumbold; brother-in-law, Lester Stock; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in August of 2016; parents; sisters, Barbara Schaeffer and Dorothy Meister; and sister-in-law, Martha Smith.

A private family committal will take place at a later date.
