Urlaub, Theresa (26 January 1980)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville was the January 26 afternoon site for the wedding rites of Theresa Urlaub and Randy Hediger. With the Rev. Joseph Henseler officiating, the service included the presentation to the altar of Theresa by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Urlaub, Rt. 1 Neillsville. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Hediger, 509 East Eighth St., Neillsville.

Following the services, a reception was held in the Neillsville American Legion Hall and the couple left for a wedding trip to New Brighton, Minnesota.

Serving as maid of honor was Nancy Seelow, the bride’s sister from New Brighton. She was joined by Lori Rychnovsky of Eau Claire and Emile Raine of Neillsville, both friends of the couple, and Bev Hediger, a cousin of the groom from Neillsville, in the bridal party.

On the groom's side was Steve Knoop, a cousin of the groom, as best man.  He was joined in the party by John Urlaub, a brother of the bride, Brad Marg, a friend, and Larry Hediger, a brother of the groom.  All of the men are from Neillsville.  Ushering were Fritz Seelow of New Brighton and Ronnie Hediger of Neillsville.

Serving as flower girl was Becky Hediger, a sister of the groom from Neillsville.

Musical selections at the service included  "If" and "The Wedding Song."

The new Mrs. Hediger is a graduate of Neillsville High School and is a secretary for the courthouse office of the UW-Extension.  The groom, also a Neillsville High graduate, is employed by Sav-Rite Building Center, Neillsville.

The couple will make their home on Rt. 4, Neillsville.
