Sears, Roscoe O. (15 April 1907 – 24 February 1980)

Roscoe O. Sears, Waverly, Mo., passed away in Kelling Hospital on February 24. Sears, 72, was born on April 15, 1907, in Wisconsin, the son of Fred M. and Verzilla Sears. (He, for several years lived in the Town of Levis.) He was a retired farmer and had resided in Waverly with the Max Rogers family since 1975. He was an active member of the Waverly United Methodist Church.

The deceased is survived by one brother, Thomas, California; one sister, Lois Sears, Florida; one sister-in-law and one nephew, Mrs. Veralynn Sears and David Sears, both of Mazomanie.

Funeral services were held February 27 from the Waverly United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Steve Breon. Cremation followed the service.
