Toivo O. Kangas, 58, route, 1, Withee, died Sunday at his home.

Mr. Kangas was born December 3, 1915 in the town of Hixon and farmed until retiring in 1971.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Hulda Kangas, Owen; a sister, Mrs. Eva Buss, Rout 1, Withee, and a brother, William, Owen.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Owen, with the Rev. Douglas Groenewold officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
