Krug, Michael W. (17 Nov 1953 – 9 Dec 2021)

Michael Wade Krug, 68, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at an Eau Claire hospital. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mike was born on Nov. 17, 1953, in Stanley, the son of Dean and Adeline Krug. He attended Owen-Withee schools. He worked in the maintenance and automotive fields after high school. He was married to Janet Faude and they had two daughters, Lynn and Penny. They divorced and he later married Cindy Colby and they had two sons, Chase and Chance, before divorcing. He also had a daughter, Brandi Kallenbach.

Surviving are his children: Lynn (Jesse) Niggemann, Penny Krug, Chase Krug and Chance Krug; a sister, Christine (Gary) Fritz; two brothers: Mark (Melissa) Krug and Ricky (Sandy) Krug; his grandchildren: Dustin, Autumn and Tucker Niggemann, and Kashton and Kolton Krug; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Kathleen; and a brother, Wayne. Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
