Hemmer, Rondi Lee (26 May 1959 – 25 December 2021)

Rondi Lee Hemmer, age 62, of Owen, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her residence with her family by her side.

Rondi was born on May 26, 1959, the daughter of Jack and Bonnie (Lekie) Oleson in Medford. She was a 1977 graduate of Medford High School. Rondi was united in marriage to Ronald Hemmer on May 4, 1979, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. Rondi worked at Wadal Plastics in Medford and Weathershield in Medford and Greenwood before helping Ron on the farm. Rondi enjoyed crocheting, going to garage sales and spending time with the grandchildren.

Rondi is survived by her husband; Ron of Owen, mother; Bonnie Oleson of Stetsonville, children; Amber (Nathan) Curtin of Arpin and Travis (Heather) Hemmer of Loyal, grandchildren; Allison and William Curtin and Erik and Autumn Hemmer, five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings; John (Dee Dee) Oleson of Medford, Scott (Gail) Oleson of Curtiss, Shelly Raatz of Stetsonville and Vicky (Randy) Wicks of Medford.

She is preceded in death by her father; Jack Oleson, brother-in-law; Mark Raatz and nephew; Jason Hemmer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Pastor Faith Bosmans will officiate. Family and friends are welcome on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Loyal City Cemetery on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
