“Asbra Welcome” Relief Corps, No. 81, of Thorp, Wisconsin Auxiliary to the Gran Army of the Republic, present an eight-foot American Indoor Flag and standard to the Thorp Care Center.

The flag has been placed in the dining room.

The flag was presented by the Patriotic Instructor, Kate Hillbo, of Thorp. Other members attending were the following: President: Hazel Roesler, Secretary: Irene Kaczor, Treasurer: Maude Kulwiec, Patriotic Instructor: Kate Hillbo, Color Bearer: Francis Kulwiec, Musician: Hester Glasshof.

Kate Hillbo present the American Fage to the Thorp Care Center with the following message:

“As members of Asbra Welcome Women’s Relief Corps Auxiliary to the Gran Army of the Republic – the oldest patriotic organization formed after the Civil War, we present this flag to the Thorp Care Center in memory of the brave men and women who have defended it and to instill a love for our county, America, who has contributed her aid to less fortunate countries to help preserved peace among all nations.

May God Bless this Care Center and our Nation.”
