Sydejko, John P. (5 Dec 1892 – 9 Nov 1974)

John P. Sydejko, age 81, of 16 S. Rural Street, Chippewa Falls, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.

He was born December 5, 1892 in Poland, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Sydejko. In August 1920 he married Josephine Dulek of Thorp, and they had lived in Chippewa Falls since their marriage. Mr. Sydejko worked for the Chippewa Shoe Factory for about 40 years before retiring in 1963. He was a member of the Notre Dame parish.

Mr. Sydejko is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Mary Ann) Olson, and Mrs. Donna Hayes, both of Chippewa Falls; two sons, Eugene and Donald Sydejko, both of Chippewa Fals; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine, on sister and one brother.

Funeral services were Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, with Father John Hogan officiating. Burial was in the family lot of Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
