Endvick, William Sr. (2 Apr 1889 – 30 Nov 1974)

William F. Endvick Sr., 85, former Stanley resident, died Saturday morning at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Endvick was born April 2, 1889 in the town of Edson. He grew up there, and on November 23, 1915 he married Katherine Kuhn at Edson. The couple resided in Polley, and then moved to Eidsvold (Clark Co.), where they lived for 18 years before moving to Stanley.

The couple also lived in the Greenwood area for a nmber of years, and moved to Arpin where they had since resided.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, William Jr., Milwaukee, Harvey, Rhinelander; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Krause, Arpin; one brother, Frank, Brill; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Schesel and Mrs. Minnie Ebben, both of Stanley; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. Leonard Kaiser officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Stanley.
