Ratsch, Sharon A. (14 January 1950 – 8 January 2022)

Sharon A. (Kopp) Ratsch passed away at the Marshfield Medical Center on January 8, 2022. Sharon was born to Arnold and Hilda (Luchterhand) Kopp on January 14, 1950. She was united in marriage to Ronald W. Ratsch on May 15, 1971. They were blessed to celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary with family.

Sharon graduated from Marshfield Senior High with the class of 1968. She then went on and completed a short course at Metropolitan School of Technology in Milwaukee. She worked for Rollohome Corp. and Wisconsin Homes, Inc. for 48 1/2 years.

Sharon enjoyed roller skating but was never near as good as Ron. She did enjoy the Polka Fests and old time dances they attended with their family and friends. She also looked forward to their annual Branson, MO, trips.

Sharon was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Altar Circle for many, many years. She and Ron put battery candles together for Christmas Eve services for at least 12 years until Ill health prohibited them from doing it. Ron and Sharon also counted money for the church going back as far as counting money in the old parsonage on 7th street.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Chester Franke of Marshfield; and her brother-and sister-in-law, Robert and Kathleen Kopp of Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A combined funeral service for Sharon and Ronald will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield with the Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating, with visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Brooklawn Memory Gardens.
