Granton FFA (Camp Wawbeek - 1981)
FFA members from the Granton High School will be calling on farmers in the
Granton area this Friday morning, May 1, to ask for donations to send two
locally crippled boys to Camp Wawbeek at Wisconsin Dells this summer. Bound for
camp are Brian Jennings of Chili and John Perrin of Loyal.
This year the FFA members are asking farmers for an old battery, a sack of oats
of corn or a money donation. Farmers may choose which one they prefer to give.
Batteries Unlimited of Marshfield and Beilke Feed Mill of Granton are
cooperating by repurchasing, at premium prices, the materials collected. All
proceeds will be given to the boys to attend camp.
If any farmer is missed or if there are any friends who would like to help, they
may call the Granton School. FFA members will stop.
