Sach, Irma E. (15 February 1912 - 19 August 1983)

OWEN -- Mrs. Otto (Irma E.) Sachs, 71, of Owen, died today at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

Services will be Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee, the Rev. Douglas Groenewold officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Visitations will be at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.

Mrs. Sachs, the former Irma Bruchert, was born February 15, 1912 at Withee. She and Otto Sachs were married February 24, 1945.

They operated the Highway Grocery Store in Withee until 1945, then farmed in the Town of Longwood until retiring in 1972, when they moved to the Village of Withee.

A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mrs. Sachs is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Norene) Thorne, Owen; two brothers, Leon and Norbert Bruchert of Withee; three sisters, Mrs. George (Helen) Stark of Greenwood, Mrs. Laura Rheingans of Richfield and Mrs. Louise Buss, Clintonville; and three grandsons.

She was predeceased by her husband December 22, 1981 and by a son, Warren, December 14, 1981.
