King, Jerry (Certified - 1981)
Jerry King, 1008 Hewett St., Neillsville, has been certified by the Department
pf Natural Resources as a wastewater operator for the City of Neillsville,
according to Steve Thon, operator instructor with the West Central District of
the DNR, Eau Claire.
This certification, after training, warrants King as fully qualified to operate
a facility which includes a laboratory and disinfection process.
Thon said certification is required, by state law, for operators of wastewater
treatment and public water supply plants. The Department of Natural Resources
administers the program. Examinations are conducted four times each year
throughout the state.
King is employed by Neillsville’s public utilities department.
