Orth, Anna M. (14 Aug 1886 – 28 Aug 1973)

Funeral services were held Friday, August 31, 1973 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby for Anna Marie Orth, 87, who died August 28, 1973 in a Monmouth, Illinois hospital.

Rev. Francis Rushman officiated at the church service and burial at the church cemetery. Lulloff Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Anna Marie Tesmer was born August 14, 1886 in Sturgeon Bay. She came to the Colby area as a child and spent most of her live here. She was married to Conrad Orth on June 16, 1908, at Colby. Her husband died in September of 1971, and since that time Mrs. Orth had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Edward (Jeanette) Chamberlain in Monmouth, Illinois.

Shew as a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Surviving are three sons, Conrad of Colby, Joe of Brookport, N.Y., and Emory of Metamora, Illinois; four daughters, Mrs. Vern (Violeta) Luepke of Aledo, Illinois, Mrs. Earl Gertrude Fager of Soreston, Illinois, and
