Loraine “Boots” Fritz, retired postmaster of the Withee Post Office, was honored with a Retirement Party on Saturday, January 14, 1978, held at Dave’s Steak House, Owen. Twenty-nine employees and wifes and husband from the Owen-Withee area joined in the occasion. Also attending was Larry Kyzer of Port Edwards the officer in charge at the Withee Post Office.
