Miss Rebecca Dyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dyer of Route 2, Curtiss, is one of the 90 students named to the Dean’s List at Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. To qualify for the scholastic distinction the student has taken four courses during the previous semester and earned the equivalent of two A’s and to B’s.

Lakeland is a fully accredited four year liberal arts college located on a beautiful 150 acre rural campus near Sheboygan. It was founded by German settlers in 1862, and through the 116 years of its existence has maintained high standards of instruction. The curriculum is innovative, initiating courses to meet the needs of changing times. It recently set up a program for Native American students, has a Center for Business and Economics, and offers a major in Health Care Administration. Lakeland College is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
