Frinack, Patrick C. (12 April 1954 – 24 May 2022)

Patrick Charles Frinack was born on April 12, 1954, in Stanley, the son of Charles and Helen (Koltis) Frinack. He was the eldest of six children. He graduated Thorp High School in 1972 and later completed the Farm Night Course through CVTC. Pat was married to Ginny Konieczny on October 6, 1973, at the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee.

Pat was a dedicated farmer, he worked hard, respected the land, and took pride in his dairy herd. He worked some of the same land his father and grandfather worked for many years before him and is now a century farm in 2022. Before farming fulltime, he also worked at the Thorp Lumber Yard, where he made many lifelong friends. When not working he loved fishing and hunting. He could sit in a boat or be in the woods all day waiting for that fish to bite, or a deer or bear to come along. He would do anything for a friend or family member if the need arose. Pat loved his boys, their spouses, and the grandchildren, and taught them to love the farm, fishing, and hunting.

He was a longtime member of the Goggle-Eye Trap Club, frequently being one of their top shooters. He also belonged to the Black River Sportsman’s Club where he shot archery for many years. Pat was also a member of the Thorp FFA Alumni always supportive of Agriculture. People were always drawn to him, and you could find him striking up a conversation with strangers anywhere he went. He will be dearly missed by many.

Pat is survived by his wife Ginny, three sons, Jason (Jody) Frinack of St. Charles MN, Michael (Alisa) Frinack of Elk Mound, Craig (Autumn) Frinack of Coon Valley, nine grandchildren, Travis, Mitchell, Taylor, Derek, Brooklyn, Logan, Harper, Saphiya, and Paige, his brother Jeff and four sisters Kathy, JoAnn, Janice, and Diane. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Helen Frinack; and his mother and father in-law: Frank and Phyllis Konieczny.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. Rev. Leo Johnson will officiate, and burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Pallbearers will be Alex Frinack, Zach Frinack, Jake Copenhaver, Chad Christie, Troy Konieczny, and Frank Berendt. Visitation will be held at the church, on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until time of service.
