Mr. and Mrs. Victor Zak, Route 1, Dorchester, announce te engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Vicky, and Butch Kollmansberger, Medford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Kollmansberger, Route 1, Unity.

Miss Zak graduated from Colby High School in 1973. She is employed at Marathon Cheese Corporation, Medford.

Her fiancé attended Greenwood High School and served in the Army for two years. He is also employed at Marathon Cheese, Medford.

The couple has set their wedding date for August 3, 1974, at Dorchester.

Miss Vicky Zak became the bride of Ervin D. Kollmansberger at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Milton Petzold at Peace United Church in Dorchester on Saturday, August 3, 1974.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Zak, Rt. 1, Dorchester, and her husband the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Kollmansberger, Rt. 1, Unity.

For her wedding the bride wore a long sleeved white Marcaine knit which featured a wide bertha collar trimmed with pearls and Venice lace. The Venice face headpiece secured a long veil and blusher. She carried a bouquet of red carnations and white roses, with baby’s breath and ivy.

Mrs. Stanley Behrens, Spencer, was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Kathy Mueller, Mundelein, Illinois, Miss Karla Zak, Dorchester, and Mrs. Fred Decker, Dorchester.

The bridal attendants wore gowns of dotted voile with high necklines trimmed with cotton lace. The flounced full skirt was attached to a smocked bodice and midriff. They carried baskets of red carnations and baby’s breath, and white hats trimmed with red flowers completed their ensembles. Miniature bride and groom were Bonnie Zak and Scott Kollmansberger.

Attending the groom as best man was Stan Behrens, Spencer, and groomsmen were Greg Zak, Dorchester, Dennis Kollmansberger, Unity, and Fred Decker, Dorchester.

A reception, champagne dinner and dance at the Dorchester Memorial Hall followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Colby High School, and her husband is a graduate of Greenwood High School. Both are employed by Marathon Cheese at Medford.

The couple is making their home at Rt. 1, Stetsonville.
