Schecklman, Robert James (17 November 1933 – 17 June 2022)

Robert J. Schecklman, 88, of Henderson, NV, passed away at St. Rose Siena Hospital in Henderson, on Friday, June 17, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, in Loyal, with Rev. Leo Johnson officiating.

Robert James Schecklman was born on November 17, 1933, on the home farm in the Town of York, Clark County, to Leo G. and Mary A. (Walter) Schecklman. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at Lincoln School. Bob held various jobs in Marshfield and later in Eau Claire. He moved to the Las Vegas Valley in 2014 to enjoy a warmer climate.

He was a unique, fun-loving, very nice guy, who loved to converse with people, and was always prepared for enjoyment at social events.

Bob is survived by one sister: Florien Mueller of Latrobe, PA; one brother: James Schecklman of Neillsville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: George, Anthony and Edward; one sister: Rosalind Aumann; and his dear companion: Sharon Burgess in January 2021.
