Mrs. Bessie Thompson went to Tomahawk Sunday to attend the confirmation of a granddaughter, Renee Thompson.

A family gathering was held at the Maurice Thompson home in honor of the occasion. Present were Mrs. Thompson; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Helding and Mr. and Mrs. Rand Strachan and Jason, Mosinee; Don Thompson, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Helding Jr. and children, Mosinee; Mrs. Dick Thompson and children, Tomahawk, and Pat Barr, Colby.
