Sebold, Gwen (6 Jul 1932 – 31 Jul 1974)

Miss Gwen Sebold, 131 North Second Street, Dorchester, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield on Wednesday, July 31, 1974 at the age of 42.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester by the Rev. Jacob Burggraf. Burial was made in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

A Ladies Altar Society rosary was said at 4 p.m. and a parish rosary at 8 p.m. on Friday. Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home at Dorchester was in charge of the arrangements.

Miss Sebold was born July 6, 1932 at Dorchester, and attended the Dorchester schools, graduating in 1950. She worked as a secretary at Sebold Chevrolet in Abbotsford until 1955, when she was employed as an administrative secretary at the Marshfield Clinic until the time of her death. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sebold, Dorchester, two brothers, Duane Sebold, San Diego, and Russel Sebold, Chicago, and one nephew.

Pallbearers were Robert Sebold, Francis Sebold, Darryl Mertens, Dan Kramer, Jim Kramer and Joe Herman.
