Edith M. Ottens, 84, Fulton, Ill., died Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton.

Mrs. Ottens was born May 7, 1916, in Neillsville Wis., the daughter of Julius and Jennie Winton Winter. She married Ellis Ottens March 18, 1944, in Wilmington, N.C .

Surviving are her husband; daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Dan Murphy, Davenport; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Janice Ottens, Fulton; Six grandchildren; and sisters, Vivian Flaherty, Ypsilanti, Mich., Florence Marty and Grace Schoen, Neillsville, and Clarice Lockman, Longview, Wash. Deceased by her parents and one sister Alice Lisko and two brothers, Arthur and Clifford.

Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fulton Chapel of Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
