The Colby Future Farmers of America (FFA) is now involved in “Building Our
American Community (BOAC). This project is a national project taken up by FFA
groups.
For their project, the Colby FFA is landscaping the Colonial Home in Colby. They
are now raking and leveling the ground so grass seed can be planted later on.
The project has been a success so far, and the club has also recently finished
plowing the Colby FFA experimental field.
The corn and oat sale are on the way, and the club is hoping for a successful
year. If you haven’t been contacted about the sales yet, call Colby High School.
The parliamentary procedure team has been doing good.
The club is again sponsoring their annual toy drive for the needy, and the toys
will be greatly appreciated. Pick up will be on Sunday, December 15 at grocery
stores in Colby, Unity and Dorchester.
