The Abbotsford High School Badger Boys and Girls are: Jane Polnaszek, daughter
of Mrs. Frances Polnaszek, Karen Writz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Writz,
Greg Pinter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Pinter, and Scott Wichlacz, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Edwin Wichlacz.
The four young people from the junior class of Abbotsford High School were
selected on the basis of leadership, scholarship, service to school and
community, extracurricular activities and citizenship.
Karen Writz is the Abbotsford chairperson for the March of Dimes Walkathon,
co-vice president of the home economics club, assistant editor of the annual
staff, assistant head typist for the school newspaper, member of the national
honor society and track manager.
Jane Polnaszek’s activities include band, cheerleading, girls’ basketball and
volleyball, assistant editor of the school newspaper, girls athlete association,
AFS, national honor society and letterman’s club.
Greg Pinter is a member of the national honor society, lettermen’s’ club, math
club, Future Farmers of America and is on the football team.
Scott Wichlacz’s activities include football, wrestling, track, art club, Future
Farmers of America, lettermen’s club and newspaper staff member.
