The Colby Chamber of Commerce selected Galen Reinhart to receive the first annual Citizen Award of the year. Russell Meyer presented a plaque to Reinhart. Reinhart has been active in community affairs, a member of the Colby Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years and its fire chief for five years, past president of the Lion’s Club, active in the little league, active in affairs of the Colby Chamber of Commerce and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Reinhart, an employee of the Packaging Corporation of America since 1952, is now its production manager.
