At the 23rd Annual Wisconsin Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference, Karen Lapp received first place in senior stenographer competition. She will represent Wisconsin at the National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C on June 16-19, 1976.

Colby FBLA Chapter place fourth as the “Outstanding State Leadership Conference Chapter” on April 8-10.

Approximately 1,200 students and faculty advisors from 150 chapters throughout the state participated in the annual conference, which was held on the grounds of the Green Lake Center.

The president of the Colby FBLA Chapter is Kay Steinmetz, and the advisors are Marie Braatz and Joyce Haavisto.
