Dr. Beder A. Cole

The local physician plays an important role in the life of every community.

In the early days of Butler Township, Dr. Beder A. Cole was the compassionate face which offered a helping hand during the tragedies the area folks faced.  He was there to mend their wounds, to announce the death of a beloved family member, to give sound advice when the epidemics threatened and to smile as he laid a new baby in its mothers arms.
