  • Butler Township: Jackson School Records: [1923] [1925]; contributed by Paul Forster.

  • Biographies: George Messing, Civil War Soldier of Sherwood Township (additional biographical information); by Mary Davis.  As far as we know, this soldier has no marker on his grave.  If you are a relative and would like to have one placed, we can tell you how to obtain a stone from the Veteran's Affairs office.  These memorials are provided at no cost by the VA in honor of those who have served and the only cost to you would be for the setting of it.

  • Biographies: Dallas & Mary Jane (Roberts) Vernam; contributed by Crystal Wendt and the Clark Co., WI History Buffs.
