Ask Our History Buffs a Question or Volunteer to do Special Lookups

Since it isn't always possible to have specific resources at our disposal, we are hopeful that others will share their resources with us.  If you have books or records for which you are willing to do lookups, please send us your name and email address along with the title, publisher, & description of the resource and we will add you to our list. These volunteers are willing to provide information to you for free via the Internet, but should be compensated for the cost of any reproductions, postage, and nominal expenses for photo paper & ink if snail mail services are used.  If you feel they have been helpful to you, a tax deductible contribution to this Internet Library Project or to USGenNet which provides server space for our on-line historical library, would be appreciated.

• Coralee DeLong--I have albums 1957, 1958, 1959, Lincoln high School, Alma Center, Wi., that I am willing to do lookups in. Lincoln High was the consolidated High School of Humbird, Merrillan, and Alma Center.  These albums also have the grades and names listed.

• Elaine Wood Greene--I have annuals with the pictures of graduates from Neillsville High and some of the pictures would be from the Globe area.  I have 1945 1946 & 1948.  I also have a Withee annual from 1946 I can scan any of these pictures and post them on the site for those who are interested.

• Richard Hunsader--"Random Acts of Kindness" Volunteer who is will to do Still photos of tombstones and Public Records lookups and copying.

• Jean Miller--Birth Pre-1907 Wisconsin Vital Records Index on microfiche
  Death Pre-1907; 1959-1979 (excluding 1968); 1979-1997; Marriage 1973-1978; 1979-1997; Divorce 1965-1978 (excluding 1966); 1979-1983.

• Mike Sacauskis--Slovenian website for Wisconsin; Look-ups from Spomjinska zgodovina, (Historical Memories) of Willard Wisconsin. This historical gem includes many pictures of Slovenian pioneers. Name index for the above book:  [A-F] [G-K] [L-O] {P-S] [T-Z]

• Ethan Scearce--"Random Acts of Kindness" Volunteer who is willing to do Still photos of tombstones and Public Records lookups and copying — special requests.

• Janet Schwarze--1930, 1931 & 1932 Loyal, WI School Annual Lookups.  Death Indexes 1873-1909.  Warner Township Immanuel Old Church & Cemetery Records.

• Arthur Steager--1900 Census Records for Hixon & Thorp Townships; The 1905 Warner, Wisconsin State Census has now been transcribed by Arthur Steager.  Contact him or Allan Wessel for free lookups. 

• MariAnne Walker--I have copies of the CRIMSON & WHITE - the annuals of Neillsville High School, 1926, 1927, 1928,1929,1930,1931, 1932-1933.  I'll provide whatever I can from them including free photos via Internet or printed digital reproductions for postage & nominal expense of photo paper & ink only.

• Kenneth J. Wood--I can check any of the Wisconsin Vital Records fiche for you if you just give me a name and what type of records.  I believe the state archives in Madison has more compete copies of the actual records on micro film including many that are not in these indexes.
