Merriam, Luman (FEB 1856 – 23 MAR 1904)

Luman Merriam died Wednesday, March 23, 1904 at the home of his sister, Mrs. L.C. Borgers in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), aged 48 years and 1 months. He had been in poor health for several years, his death being due to consumption. Deceased was born in Michigan, but had made his home here for 18 years. He was an honest, industrious man, working as long as his strength lasted. He was a member of the M.E. Church. The funeral was held at Mrs. Borgers’ residence on Saturday, Rev. G.W. Campbell officiating, burial taking place at Nevins.
