Beaudette, 75, Granton, died on Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, June 26, at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. Burial was in the Sherwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joseph Frey, Robert Frey, Lee Haase, Randy Seymour, Jake Werla and Joseph Werla. Leo Beaudette was born on July 16, 1926, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Frank and Golda (nee Clawson) Beaudette. He moved to Madison at the age of 1, and lived there until he moved to a summer home in Granton in 1967. He married Marian Werla on July 16, 1947. He worked in maintenance until he retired in 1985. His interests included the outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding his ATV. Survivors include his wife Marian a sister-in-law Jeannine, Granton one sister, Charlotte Haase and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents one brother, Robert Beaudette and one sister, Evelyn Frey. The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements. |
