Lange and Miss Josephine Meade, both of this city (Neillsville, Clark County), were married Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 12, 1906, at the residence of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Homer M. Root, Rev. F.C. Niles of Menomonie, Wis., officiating. The wedding was somewhat quiet, only relatives and intimate friends of the parties being present. After the wedding banquet the bride and groom took the 4:45 train for a wedding trip. The groom was attended by his brother M.L. Lange, and Miss Helen Marsh acted as bridesmaid. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Meade who moved west several years ago. She returned to Neillsville to complete her course in the High School, making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Root. After graduating she engaged successfully in teaching. She is a young lady of good taste, a well trained intellect and possesses most amiable traits of character. The groom is one of the most active young business men of this county. He came here from the southern part of the state and went into the creamery business at Shortville. He has since acquired several other creameries, including that in Neillsville, and is carrying on one of the most extensive business in this part of the state. He is a young man of energy, good habits, and appears to stand well with his patrons and acquaintances. The young couple will make their home in Neillsville. |
