Stallard, Marian E. (10 JUL 1918)

At 4 o'clock this afternoon occurred the marriage of Miss Marian Elizabeth Stallard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Stallard, of Alma Center, to Daniel S. Williams, 316 North Lake St., son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Williams. The ceremony was performed at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Alma Center, the Rev. Pow officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Hattie Ingraham of Evansville, as maid of honor, and Harry Iffland of Humbird, acted as best man.

The bride wore a taupe colored suit, a large black hat with taupe trimmings and slippers to match. The maid of honor wore a blue silk voile dress trimmed with silver lace. Miss Mayme Iffland played Mendelssohn's wedding march. The church was prettily decorated with ferns and roses, and the bride's home, where a four course wedding dinner was served, was decorated with pink and white ribbons, ferns and roses. Only close relatives and friends were present.

Following the ceremony the bridal couple left on a wedding trip to the Dells, and will be at home after Aug. 1, at 31 South Mills St. The groom is a clerk in Piper Bros. grocery store, and the bride was formerly employed in Madison. Out of town guests at the wedding were Miss Hattie Ingraham, Evansville; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schuchardt and daughter Deloris, Mr. and Mrs. L. J.
