The home of Mr. and Mrs. John Wieting, South Grand Avenue, was the scene of the pretty wedding, when their youngest daughter, Miss Ida, became the bride of Ervin R. Carl, *Wednesday at 2 o’clock. Rev. Reiff of Granton tied the nuptial knot, using the ring ceremony in the presence of the relatives of the bride and bridegroom and a few immediate friends.

Miss Elsie Zipfel was bridesmaid. Her gown was of pink wash satin and she carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Albert Marg, cousin of the bride, attended Mr. Carl as best man.

The charming bride was attired in white Georgette, beautified with lace over white satin, work a veil and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses and sweet peas.

A sumptuous six o’clock wedding dinner was served to the assembled guests, at the decorated home of the bride’s parents. The color scheme was pink and white and the house was decorated with pink and white crepe paper streamers and white wedding bells.

The bride was bought up in the town of Pine Valley and has spent the greater part of her life at home helping her mother. Last year she was employed at the Neillsville Bakery where she won a permanent place in the hearts of a large circle of friends by her pleasing manner and disposition.

The groom is the son of Mrs. H. Carl of this city and is a very industrious young man. Some ten years ago he entered the employ of the Korman & Ghent shop and today hold a lucrative position with this firm, where he is well liked by all who know him.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl will go to housekeeping on the north side where they groom has prepared a fine new bungalow for his bride. He deserves our hearty congratulations for having won such an accomplished housekeeper and the success and future happiness of this estimable couple seems assured.
