Surnames: MCCAULEY BOIS MCGLONE JOHNSON CAMPBELL Source: HUMBIRD ENTERPRISE (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) 11/24/1923 McCauley, Annie (31 MAR 1864 - 13 NOV 1923) Mrs. Annie McCauley died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Bois, on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 1923. Her death came as a shock to her family, as she had been sick only a few hours. Annie McGlone was born in Janesville on March 31, 1864. She was married to Isaac McCauly, who preceded her in death on March 25, 1919. She was the mother of nine children, five of whom preceded her in death. The funeral was held from St. Patrick's Church on Thursday morning and shipped to Humbird, Clark County, Wis., and funeral from her son Ed McCauley, on Friday with services in the Fairview church, and interment beside her husband in the Fairview Cemetery. The greater part of her life was spent in Rock County, Wis., until March 8, 1911, she moved with her family to the Fairchild vicinity, where she resided until four years ago, when with her daughter, she moved to Rockford, Ill. Those who are left to mourn her death are four children, Ed McCauley, Fairchild; Mrs. Wm Bois and Miss Nellie McCauley, Rockford; Mrs. George Johnson, Fairchild; besides two sisters, Mrs. George Campbell, Janesville, and Miss Mary McGlone, Chicago. Those from away to attend the funeral were: Mrs. George Campbell, Katie Stockman, Janesville, Miss Nellie McCauley, Rockford, Ill. Her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Bois, was unable to come, being seriously ill. Ed McCauley and Mrs. George Johnson went to Rockford on Wednesday and accompanied the remains here. |
