A number of close friends in the village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) have received invitations to the wedding of Miss Eda Gansel and Mr. Frank Billerbeck, the happy event to be solemnized at the Gansel home in Garden Valley on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1923.

Miss Eda Gansel, one of the society belles of the community, became the happy December bride Wednesday afternoon, when she became the wife of Mr. Frank Billerbeck of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

In the midst of over eighty guests, the Rev. Mr. Black, formerly of Sechlerville, and an intimate friend of the family, now pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Baldwin, read the beautiful ring ceremony which united this happy couple for the journey through life.

The ceremony was performed at the farm home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Gansel, which was prettily decorated with smilax, chrysanthemums and roses for this occasion. At precisely 2:30 o'clock, to the strains of Lohengrin wedding march, played by Miss Simons, the bride and groom, the bride being attended by Mrs. George Gansel of Brady, Texas, as matron of honor, descended the stairs and took their places beneath a bower of smilax and chrysanthemums, where the vows were pledged. Wilma and Kathleen Horrell, Ida Fenski, Olive Wirth of Merrillan, and Margaret Newell of Garden Valley, carried the ribbons which formed the aisle to the altar. Leah Billerbeck carried the ring in a beautiful cala lily, and Ruth Horrell was flower girl. The bride was charmingly gowned in a creation of gold lace over satin, and carried a corsage bouquet of pale pink roses, lilies of the valley and maidenhair fern. The matron of honor carried a bouquet of American beauty roses and was dressed in a gown of pale green. The groom wore the conventional black. Preceding the ceremony a short musical program was rendered, consisting of a solo by Mrs. Olive Blencoe, instrumental by Miss Edith Simons, and a solo by Dr. H. P. Langworthy. Following the ceremony the wedding luncheon was served, the guests being seated in fours at small tables throughout the spacious Gansel home.

The bride was the recipient of many beautiful wedding gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. Billerbeck left on the evening train on their wedding trip, and will be at home at Coeur d'Alene, after the holidays.
