----Tragsdorf, Edna B. (Marriage - 25 Oct. 1922)

Mr. Anderson Edson Russell and Miss Edna B. Tragsdorf were united in marriage Wednesday morning Oct. 25, at St. Alban’s church in Marshfield, Rev. H. A. Link officiating. They were attended by Mr and Mrs. W. M. Winn and the wedding march was played by Harold Swenson of Marshfield, who was at the organ through the ceremony.

The bride wore a pretty blue dress and carried a bouquet of roses. The bride, who is the daughter of Mrs. W. M. Winn, was born and brought up in Neillsville, graduated from the high school, and later took a course at La Crosse to fit her for giving physical training. In this work she was very successful. She taught two years in Michigan and one in Marshfield. Of her work there the Marshfield News says: “While associated with the Marshfield schools she became exceedingly popular, both of her efficient work with the girls, and for her activity in a social way.” She has always been equally as well liked by her associated here at home.

Mr. Russell was born at Cadott, Wis. After considerable experience in stores he was given a position in the Zimmerman shoe department here which he was filled for six years to the great satisfaction of his employers and the public. He is a young man of fine character and likable qualities.

After the ceremony, the bridal party returned to Neillsville, and from here the bride and groom went by auto to Minneapolis, where the groom’s parents now reside, and after visiting there and at other places, will return to Neillsville to make their home here. The best of wishes go out so this fine young couple.
