Vollrath - Hoegh

Wedding vows were spoken before a candle light alter, banked with baskets of white chrysanthemums and white gladolias, at the Fight Lutheran Church, Los Angeles, California, on Friday, October 22nd at 7:00 P.M. Miss Irene DeLois Hoegh, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hoegh of Atlantic, Iowa, became the bride of Arhtur William Vollrath, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Vollrath of Los Angeles, California and formerly of Greenwood, Wis.

The bride was attired in a blue morie taffeta street length dress, her hat was a hallo effect of deleicate pink feathers with accessories of navy blue. Her flowers were a corsage of white orchids. She wore a rinestone necklace, a gift of the groom.

Her matron of honor was Mrs. Lenard Chessmore, a friend of the bride. She wore an electric blue street length dress, with a black picture hat and elbow length gloves. Her corsage was yellow rose buds.

The groom wore a heather blue suit. The best man, Orlin Vollrath, brother of the groom, wore a brown suit. Both wore white carnation boutonnieres.

The mother of the groom wore a navey blue dress, her corsage was of red rose buds.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Vollrath home to close friends and immediate relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Vollrath honeymooned at San Francisco and Saratoga.

The bride is a granduate of the Atlantic High School and has been employed by the Federal Reserve Bank for the past five years. Since coming to California she has become a member of the Alpha Beta Sorority.

The groom spent 2 1/2 years in the Navy and is now employed by Stanton and Reed Company.

The couple now reside at 127 East 76th Street, Los Angeles, California.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending best wishes for many years of happy wedded life.
