Mrs. Imig, whose maiden name was Louisa Miller came from a family of eight children, three boys and five girls. One of her brothers preceded her in death about six weeks ago. She was born in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, Oct. 31, 1850, and grew to womanhood there, and on April 13, 1868, was married to Henry Imig at Fort Atkinson, Wis. They moved at once to a farm in the town of Oakland where they lived for thirty-three years. She was happy and contented and only the Sunday before she died she said: “ If heaven is better than this it will certainly be a fine place.” Of Mrs. Imig it may well be said: “ Well done good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter into the joy of they Lord.” The funeral was held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational church, the pastor, G. W. Longenecker officiating. Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr and Mrs. S. H. Maxson, Oak Park, Ill., Mr and Mrs. C. H.
