Donna M. Gadke, 44, Stratford, died on Sunday, March 16, 2003, at her home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Gadke, Jerry Gadke, David Gadke, Glen Weichelt, Paul Weichelt, Thomas Gadke and Kenneth Weichelt.

Donna Mae Weichelt was born on Jan. 23, 1959, in Marshfield, to Elmer and Jean [nee Boyung] Weichelt. She was raised on the family farm south of Stratford and received her education in Stratford, Graduating from Stratford High School 1n 1977. She married Michael Gadke on Dec. 10, 1977, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, town of Day, Marathon County. They worked on the Weichelt family farm until buying it in 1981, and have resided there since. Her interests included her family, sewing, gardening, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Gadke, Stratford; four children, Keven [Sarah Austin] Gadke, Arpin, Keith [Kerrie] Gadke, Stratford, and Kelly and Korey Gadke, both at home; one granddaughter, Alexcis; her mother, Jean Weichelt, Stratford; and three brothers, Glen [Laura] Weichelt, Foristell, Mo., Kenneth [Jean] Weichelt, White Bear Lake Minn., and Paul [Brenda] Weichelt, Eagan, Minn.

Preceding in death were her father and a brother, Gary, in infancy.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
