Mrs. Anna Adamec

Mrs. Anna Zemba Adamec, 79, formerly of the town of Levis died March 1, in Chicago.

Funeral services were held there March 4, and the body was brought to Neillsville for burial in Komensky National cemetery near Black River Falls.

Mrs. Adamec, the former Anna Linhart, was born July 26, 1884, in Czechloslovakia and rceived her formal education there. She came with her parents to the United States. She married John Adamec, who died in 1917 when he was struck by lightning. They came to Jackson county in 1910.

In 1921 she was married to the late Andrew Zemba in Jackson county in 1910.

In 1921 she was married to the late Andrew Zemba in Jackson county. They farmed in the town of Levis until 1942, when she moved to Chicago to live with a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lemkey.

She is survived by five children: Mrs. Raymond (Anna) Klopp of Cicero, IL; Mrs. Joseph (Ella) Jonas of North Lake, IL; Anton Adamec of Neillsville; Mrs. James (Erma) Blazejovzky of Merrillan; and Mrs. Lemkey.

Other survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. Emma Marek of Milton, and Mrs. Mary Benes of Berwyn, IL; three brothers, Paul Linhart of Union Pier, Mich., John Linhart of Westmont, IL, and Michael Linhart of Berwyn, IL; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearer were John and Thomas Adamec, John Lembey of the army, statationed in Ft. Bliss, TX; Tony Adamec of Hartford; Mrs. James Blazejovsky of Merrillan; Mrs. Andrew Peterson, Mrs. Adelle Kiwak and Mrs. Kristina Sojka of Pittsville; Miss Mary J. Jonas of North Lake, IL; and Miss Janice Blazejovsky of Chicago.

Graveside services were in charge of the Georgas Funeral Home.
