Hefty, Marie (Marriage - 5 May 1926)

Mr. Arthur Hohenstein and Miss Marie Hefty were married on Wednesday, May 5, Judge O. W. Schoengarth officiating. They were attended by the bride’s brother, Joe Hefty, and the groom’s sister, Miss Sadie Hohenstein.

The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs. Fred Hohenstein of Neillsville. He attended the grades of Neillsville high school and for the past year has been assisting in carrying on his father’s truck farm and chicken business at the south city limits. He is an industrious and active young man. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John Hefty of the town of York. She is a young lady of pleasing manners, and very much liked by all who know her.

The young couple will live at the Hohenstein home as the groom has practically taken charge of the work on the place during the summer when his father is absent much of the time in other lines of business.

The Press people join in best wishes for their welfare.
