Surnames: MARG KINDT Source: NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 10/04/1928 Kindt, Hertha (26 SEP 1928) On Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Sept. 26, 1928, the Lutheran Church at Globe, Clark County, Wis., was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when Mr. Frank A. Marg and Miss Hertha Kindt were united in wedlock, Rev. Motzkus officiating. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Motzkus, and a duet, "Trusting in Him", was sung by Miss Hilda Marg and Miss Sophia Poppe. Miss Meta Kindt, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and Mr. Edward Marg, brother of the groom, was groomsman. The bride wore a dress of white silk georgette trimmed with lace and ribbons; she wore a veil caught with orange blossoms and rhinestones, and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and white forget-me-nots. The bridesmaid wore a dress of pea-green georgette trimmed with ribbon and carried a bouquet of pink forget-me-nots. The groom and groomsman wore suits of navy blue. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Marg of the town of Pine Valley, Clark county. He has lived most of his life on the home farm, but last year was employed at Helenville, Wis. He is an industrious young man of steady habits and is well liked in his home community. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Kindt of the town of Eaton, Clark County. She has always lived at home and has had a most excellent training in every way. She is a young lady of most pleasing personality and is popular with all who know her. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents after the ceremony and supper was served to a large group of relatives and friends, numbering about 50. The rooms were tastily decorated in pink and white. The young couple left Thursday for a two week trip in the south part of the state. They will be at home after Oct. 15, on the J. B. Lowe farm in the town of Weston. The Press extends good wishes to the young people.
