Schnabel, Lillian (3 JUL 1929)

A very pretty wedding took place at Rev. Buth's Church of Granton, Clark county, Wis., Wednesday afternoon, July 3rd, 1929, at 2 o'clock, when Mr. Paul Wagner took Miss Lillian Schnabel as his bride, Rev. Buth officiating.

The young couple were attended by Miss Edna Bruss, cousin of the bride, as maid of honor, and Miss Edna Krause, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid, Mr. Clarence Schnabel, brother of the bride, as groomsman and Mr. Clarence Riedel, cousin of the groom, as best man.

The bride looked lovely in a white satin dress trimmed with rhinestones and wore a silk tulle veil edged with chantilly lace fitted to a bridal coronet. She carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and baby breath.

Miss Bruss wore a dress of orchid georgette and beige silk lace, while Miss Krause was gowned in orchid flat crepe and beige Ice. Both wore head bands of metallic cloth, set with rhinestones, and carried pink roses and baby breath. The groom and groomsmen wore gray suits.

Following the ceremony, a luncheon was served at the future home of the bride and groom.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Herman Krause of the town of Grant. He is well known and is considered one of the most reliable and industrious men of his community. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Schnabel of the town of Grant. She graduated from the eighty grade and has since been assisting with the household duties in her home. She is a lady of fine personality and is well liked by all who know her.

They will go to housekeeping at once on the farm known as the Lewerenz farm four miles south of Neillsville.

On Friday evening the young couple gave a dance at Hake's.
